On Tuesday, a man wrote a scathing Facebook post about a bedraggled and suffering dog who was found tethered to a cement block on the shore of a river in Quebec. Facebook user Chad Kluke posted several images of the apparently abandoned dog, and wrote:
“To the aaahole who left this dog to die by river..found this dog tied to a cement block along Picanoc river 10 km from Otter lake..with only 2 feet slack from the brick..if anyone knows who (sic) dog this is…let them no (sic) there (sic) not getting it back.”
According to Kluke, the dog’s feet were bloodied from trying to get out of the rocks and flies were “eating him alive.” The dog, who appears to have been left by the river to die, is safe now, and according to Kluke, whoever left him there has no chance of getting him back.

The dog’s rescuer has asked for his Facebook post (shared publicly) to be shared in order to find out who is responsible for the apparent abandonment. Click here to read the Facebook post.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
