A young dog, just two years of age, has been described as a “sweetheart” who adores people…but right now, she is sitting alone behind bars. The dog, named “Theresa,” is being held in a kennel run at the Baldwin Animal Care Center in California.
Tomorrow, as families across the nation prepare their Thanksgiving meals, and plan special time with loved ones, Theresa will be sitting alone in her kennel – no people to snuggle, no bed to curl up in when the day comes to a close.
Volunteer photographer John Hwang was able to take several beautiful photos of Theresa – he commented on how the young dog touched his heart:
It’s especially hard for me to see so many in the shelter. This one in particular I really fell in love with. She’s such a sweetheart. She really adores people, and she will make a wonderful member of a loving family.
Theresa is one of dozens of homeless dogs waiting patiently behind bars at this facility – she, like the others, deserves to be in a home, with a family who adores her. You can help Theresa find a loving family by taking a moment to share her adoption information.
