A bonded pair of senior canine friends is homeless today – their owner discovered, after-the-fact, that he (or she) was not ready for the responsibility of pet ownership. The dogs, Beauty and Presley, are being held at a busy animal control agency in Gardena, California.

In fact, right now the Carson Animal Services facility is full, which means that every homeless pet is in danger. The volunteer-run Facebook page for the shelter provided a bit of information about this beautiful duo:

They are sweet, she is Blind, he has a heart murmur but they are perfect in every way. Please SHARE, a FOSTER or Adopter would save them and keep them together.

Adding the reason for the dogs’ surrender, “My former family who owned me for had to give me up because they just weren’t up for the responsibility of a pet.”

The dogs are both seniors – Presley is an eight-year-old male and Beauty is a 10-year-old female. These sweet dogs have done nothing to deserve being homeless – and they certainly are confused about the sudden loss of their home. Please help Beauty and Presley find a new, loving family by taking a moment to share their adoption information.

  1. I wish I could adopt them, they are beautiful! I have 3 dogs already, rescued of course. I pray someone takes them and gives them a loving forever home. So sad owners gave up, I could never give my babies up!

  2. Please save Them all please I have already 3 other wise I would save that pair , praying for a family to get them or a rescue or someone wth a good heart ❤️

  3. Here’s my idea let’s get the two idiots that supposedly going to handle anymore and euthanize them how stupid can you be to know you can handle two dogs humans are pathetic creatures

  4. I wish to tell my story, going through divorce, moved from house, rather than give up my 3 dogs, no one would consider renting to me, forced to move into a 3 story walk up with kindness and understanding of landlord who never rented to occupants with animals, would never give up my doggies, moved into my own building with hard work and the higher power on our side

    • wtg, Zorka. I went through the same experience….2 large dogs and 5 cats. I kept searching for an apartment before ever giving them up. I was lucky to find a place, however, the landlord was not aware just how many pets I had.

  5. SHARING WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS FOR FOR SOMEONE TO RESCUE THEM, THEY ARE SO ADORABLE. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY DECIDED TO GIVE THEM UP BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT READY. REALLY! I doubt it very much

  6. There has to be some kind soul out there that can help these two precious dogs. NO animal should have to spend time in a busy animal shelter due to someone being irresponsible and uncaring to dump these two adorable dogs who did NOTHING wrong in this world but be Blind and a Heart Condition. Won’t you please have a heart and adopt these dogs who are in real need of a kind, caring soul.

  7. I hope the two beautiful dogs get n of course all the dogs who r there can find their forever loving home….plz adopt them n oblige them to be a part of ur family … loads of love to all the dogs…❤❤❤❤
