Her name reflects the genuine gem she is, but no one has adopted Sapphire from the San Bernardino City Shelter in California. It can not because she isn’t friendly nor pretty enough. She has been available for adoption since July 19th- surely there must be someone who wants to give this young pup a loving home.

The shelter is closed until Tuesday. Sapphire needs a firm commitment for a foster home, pledges and a rescue group. Please help save her life and get her out of this shekter when they reopen Tuesday. A FOSTER HOME WILL SAVE THIS STILL A PUPPY’S LIFE.

I am surprised this shelter has kept her this long, especially being a pit bull and a blue color, both which are super common in any shelter.
I’m surprised, too, knowing how that shelter operates.
