Mischievous Yorkie playing hide and seek under porch needed local firemen to rescue him

A Yorkshire terrier named Tank had been playing a game of Hide and Seek with his owners last Tuesday in Centennial, Colorado when he wiggled under the wooden boards of the neck and got trapped.

Mind you, we aren’t talking about a German shepherd, Mastiff or pitbull. This is a pint sized pooch with an epic need to be rescued.

Video from the rescue showed 18 South Metro Fire Rescuers arriving, accompanied by the full technical team and the Arapahoe County Animal Control.

Video from the scene posted online showed the firefighters cutting through the floor boards and then digging underneath. Rescuers were finally able to reach in for Tank and brought the little guy to safety.

It’s not clear who won the Hide and Seek game, but Tank’s panicky owners were grateful to have their adventurous little guy safe and sound.
