A rude tourist at a Chinese zoo, threw a plastic water bottle into a chimpanzee’s enclosure, and certainly didn’t expect the unexpected; when the chimp got even and threw the bottle back at the man.
According to Newsflare, security video recorded the man throwing the plastic bottle at the chimp at Changsha Ecological Zoo in southern China on Sunday afternoon.
The chimp, named Diu Na Xing, obviously wasn’t having such disrespect, stupidity and abuse, and took the matter into his own hands and grabbed the bottle, banged it repeatedly on the ground and then tossed it back into the crowd. Supposedly, a little girl was hit in the eyebrow area and was bleeding slightly as she was seen covering her face when walking away from the enclosure.
The chimps are well known for throwing stones and other items, and guests are repeatedly reminded not to tease them. Authorities are investigating the incident, and zoo personnel plan to secure the area around the chimps better.
Social media responded to the incident, and the comments reflected their anger; with numerous people suggesting the man who threw the bottle into the enclosure should be thrown in there for the chimp’s entertainment.
There is no excuse to tease or taunt any animal. What was he thinking?
