In San Diego, California, a kitten is safe after she managed to get her bottom jaw stuck in the frame of a truck. The adorable little one owes the remainder of her eight lives to the San Diego Humane Society.

It had been a truck driver who called the San Diego Humane Law Enforcement stating he had heard meowing when he approached a stop sign on Monday. When the driver arrived home, he saw the oddest sight – an eight-week-old kitten with her jaw tightly trapped in a hole in the frame of the vehicle.

The Humane Society’s veterinarian responded to the scene and provided assistance to the Humane Officers by sedating the kitten, and patiently using Q-tips to dislodge her head and free her from the truck.

The kitten was taken to the Escondido Campus for additional care which included fluids, antibiotics, pain medication and food. She is now safe, and isn’t she just too adorable?

Many thanks to the truck driver and the San Diego Humane Society for all the help.
