In Fort Worth, Texas, a six-year-old German shepherd named Luther has been labeled “code red” because of a medical concern. He is loved and adored by everyone, and surely this sweet guy deserves better than to be euthanized for convenience and/or overcrowding at the Fort Worth Animal Care and Control – North Animal Campus.
Luther is described as dog friendly, easy to walk on a leash, snuggly and has great manners. He sits on command and takes treats gently.
he’s very proud of his favorite toy and will jump up on the kennel door to show it to you.

Rescue only due to possible cancer on left eye. He might need a hospice rescue/foster. An evaluation was performed by a veterinarian on October 2 pertaining to his eye.
