Need some cuteness today to help you settle in with 2023 and remembering to write the correct year on correspondence; even for those who still write out checks? Well then, sit down for a moment or two, and let me introduce you to Kygo – a French bulldog with a personality far larger than his compact canine size.

In a video shared on TikTok by Kygo’s owner, @its.me.kygo, the pooch from Vancouver can be seen enjoying the extra attention he received from the flight attendants after they noticed the adorable little guy on his travel adventure.

“When the flight attendants realize you flew with your dog. Pawpular – ‘I’m pawpular with the ladies’ Nothing better than landing and have amazing flight crew giving your fur baby lots of love and attention.”

So how often do you travel with your dog? On most planes the small dog must fit and remain in the approved pet carrier the entire trip. The carrier must stow under the seat in front of you, and NOT in the overhead bin. On most airlines there is a $100+ fee each way for flying your pet. Not many airlines will let you buy a seat for your dog. Each airline has their own policies, so be sure to do your research first.

Most commercial airlines do adhere to strict weight and size limits for pets flying in-cabin, although some airlines allow big pets in the cabin. Service dogs do not have size or weight requirements and are allowed in the cabin in both commercial and private planes.

As for Kygo, we can only assume the cuteness factor played a big role in his “pawpular” flight, as his video garnered more than five million views.
