Dog caught by video in driver’s seat of speeding car in Slovakia

The driver of a car in Slovakia was fined after a camera appeared to have captured a dog behind the steering wheel of a moving vehicle.

According to the Policia Slovenske, the driver alleged the dog, named Havino, had jumped into the driver’s lap while he was driving. The photo made it appear as if Havino was steering and even smiling as he drove through the central European country.

On the department’s Facebook page, the local police stated they pulled the driver over shortly after the scene was captured on camera. And although the 31-year-old driver, . Pieš Dilany claimed the dog had unexpectedly jumped onto his lap, the police didn’t agree, and said there had been no sudden movements in the car to indicate the dog had surprised the driver by jumping onto his lap.
