In the province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica, the Fire Department of Costa Rica have been credited with rescuing two puppies that had been missing for a month. The barely alive puppies, although called miracle survivors, were found at the bottom of a well.

According to Zenger News, both puppies were found alive at the bottom of a 16-feet deep well. One of the puppies was severely dehydrated and needed life saving emergency care. The pups had been reported missing nearly a month ago, and despite extensive search efforts to find them, there had been no clues or sightings.

Once the puppies were returned to their owner, the two were rushed to a veterinarian for care. The fire department issued a statement wishing the puppies well and a “speedy recovery.”

Need we say more why we all love our brave men and women who risk their lives so often saving men, women, children and our four legged friends from all kinds of dangerous situations. Thank you everyone for your service.
