Buffalo, NY – A dog named Morris has endeared himself to the shelter staff at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, but nobody seems to want to adopt him. Months ago, Morris arrived at the shelter as a stray, and it did not take long for staff to fall in love with his sweet personality.
The Sweet Buffalo Facebook page writes:
NO ONE WANTS TO ADOPT ADORABLE SHELTER DOG & NO ONE KNOWS WHY 💔 Meet Morris! He’s the most adorable pup you’ll ever meet! He has been at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter for a few months now and has become a volunteer favorite! He is good with other dogs (meet and greet required). No one knows Morris’ back story because he came in as a stray but it’s clear he’s never been loved before. 🥺
Morris’ Petfinder profile describes him as quiet, affectionate, sweet, and shy. A portion of Morris’ description reads:
He is crazy handsome and attentive and loves to take treats gently and knows sit SO well that he could easily learn just about anything else you want to teach him. He is very dog friendly but is pretty excited and in your face when first meeting new friends so a dog that’s comfortable with that will be his best match. He attended a day of enrichment at K9 Connection and they report he was great when experienced dogs helped show him how to play politely. He’s sponsored with three enrichment sessions by them for his adopters to use!
