An injured dog is desperately in need of rescue after his owner surrendered him to a Vance County, North Carolina, animal shelter. The dog, Debop, was attacked by another dog and his owner could not afford to get him the veterinary care that he needs.

Now, Depop is at risk of being euthanized. The Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society explains:

Debop was surrendered to the shelter after being attacked by another dog. His owner could not afford to take him to the vet. He is on medication and pain meds. He is a sweet boy with people despite his injuries.

Debop is at the Vance County shelter. We are the networking group for the shelter. His hold is up 8/4/22 and is in danger of being euthanized any time if the shelter is over capacity.

This dog has been failed… he was attacked, he was injured, he was surrendered and now he might be killed. Please share Depob with the hopes that a rescue organization can step up to help.

If you are a 501c3 rescue interested in pulling him, please send an email to [email protected]

  1. Poor precious treasure. The owner of the “attacker” dog should have paid for all of the “victim” dog’s vet bills.

Why this didn’t happen, I don’t know……. But it seems terribly unfair that the family had to give up their pet due to another dog’s bad actions……,

I hope this precious treasure is saved by a rescue group and is rehomed into a a loving furever family who will treat him as a beloved family member for his entire life.

  2. WE CAN DONATE TO THE RESCUE! PLEASE PLEASE–DONT LET THEM KILL THIS ULTIMATE SWEETHEART! HE DESPERATELY NEEDS YOU!
