In Encinitas, the owner of a missing golden retriever says a neighbor’s security camera spotted an Amazon driver stealing her dog from her yard. Finn, the year-and-a-half pup, has been missing since the morning of October 9. Denise Reppenhagen, the owner of Finn, misses her dog terribly.

According to Channel10News, Denise’s daughter had arrived at the home that morning and went inside – closing the garage door not realizing Finn was still outdoors. Minutes later, a video showed Finn barking and an Amazon delivery driver parked outside of the home. The neighbor’s security camera captured the driver dropping off a package.

The neighbor witnessed the Amazon driver arriving, delivering the package and then putting the dog in her car and driving away. So, then I checked my Amazon orders and I indeed had an order.

Before taking off, the driver seemed to look back toward the property. I was in complete disbelief. I couldn’t breathe. I literally couldn’t breathe

The order confirmation shows a package delivered at Reppenhagen’s front door. The video clearly shows the driver retrieving the package and proceeding up the driveway partially hidden by a bush. A few minutes later, the woman is back at her vehicle and can be seen ushering the dog into the car.

Denise immediately notified Amazon and filed a police report with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. A representative from Amazon stated the driver has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.

Anyone with information about Finn, please contact the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. Help bring Finn home.
