Richland County, OH – On Monday, a “skin and bones” puppy was rescued from a bad situation by humane agents with the Humane Society of Richland County. The pup, dubbed Journey, is between the ages of four and six months but she weighs just 10 pounds.

Life begins anew for this neglected puppy. The animal welfare agency said:

Needless to say, she will not be going back to where she came from.

Journey’s new journey begins today, with us.

People who have seen the image of Journey are outraged that she was treated so badly, but they are grateful that help arrived, and that her future is now full of promise. The shelter has stated that Journey will be headed to a veterinarian for a full exam, and they have vowed to do everything they can to ensure that she makes a full recovery.

You can follow Journey at this link to the shelter’s Facebook page.
