In Wellsburg, West Virginia, an arrest warrant has been issued for a Brooke County man who authorities say allegedly shot his neighbor’s dog and threw it over a hill. Officials say Ron Sebeck admitted to shooting a 1 1/2 years old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a high powered pellet gun while he had been drinking, but did not know where the dog was.
According to a Change.org petition, calling for justice for the young dog named Poppy, the dog went missing on September 29. The family, which includes three young children became worried since the dog never left the yard; they searched for their beloved pet everyday for a week without a clue as to her location.
On October 6, the family received a tip that Poppy had been shot, killed and tossed over a hill by Sebeck. Two days later, the family found their dog’s remains.
…This man heard their cries, saw them searching endlessly & never said a word. What kind of monster shoots a harmless 10 pound dog for no reason at all?!?? On 10/8/22 Poppy was found dead by her owners brother & 2 sons. These children will be forever traumatized. We must get justice for Poppy!!! Please sign this petition.

I stopped telling children there are no monsters because we all know monsters walk on two legs and look just like other people. Everyday minute of everyday people and pets disappear.
Beyond disgusting POS (who clearly deserves to be hit by a speeding semi tractor trailer) and absolutely heartbreaking for the family. I am totally heartbroken for this family. They and Poppy did NOT deserve this horrible situation!!!
