An Instagram clip that went viral, because it was just too cute not to make all of us smile, was shared by @hugoandursula, showing the best efforts of a dog trying to push his paw through the seat and even trying harder to push his tongue all the way out of his mouth in hopes of reaching a bag of scrumptious smelling potato chips.
Might we add, he did not succeed.
The golden retriever had been riding on a train when his nose caught the enticing aroma of shrimp cocktail-flavored potato chips behind him.
Perhaps most hilarious, it had been the owner of the chips who videoed this most amusing exchange with this doggo; even the pooch making faces hoping against hope to score a chip or two – maybe even the entire bag because it sure did smell great. He just tried everything in his doggy toolbox, including pushing his paw through the seat and reaching his tongue out as far as possible.
The last part of the video was the clincher though when he bared his teeth as if he was smiling. The Internet burst in laughter with lots of viewers comparing his image to Jack Nicholson looking through the door (“I’m baccccccckkkk”) in the horror movie The Shining.
