A Florida man was arrested after multiple people reported seeing him kick a puppy into traffic in Milton last Tuesday. As reported by WEAR TV, witnesses told the authorities that 34-year-old George Ammons kicked the puppy “full force” into traffic near Winston Brown Rd. and Munson Hwy.

Drivers were forced to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting the pup, who managed to survive the terrifying incident.

When police questioned Ammons, he told them that he was “teaching” his dog to not run into traffic. The puppy was seized and transferred to animal control’s care. Ammons was arrested and taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail on a charge of animal cruelty.
