A soulless individual left a malnourished dog inside of a cage…abandoning her in an alley in St. Paul, MN, in the freezing cold. Thankfully, a rescuer happened to be in the right place, at the right time, to save the discarded dog’s life.
On Wednesday, a photo of the abandoned dog was posted to social media, along with an explanation of the cruel incident:
Imagine driving down an alley way in St. Paul, MN and it’s 10 degrees outside and extremely windy.
Suddenly you just happen to see this…Yes, this is a dog, in a crate, left alone to freeze to death in the frigid temps with absolutely no body fat on her. Who knows how long she had been there.
A foster for Ruff Start Rescue happened to drive by and see the appalling situation. The skeletal dog was removed from the crate and placed into the foster’s warm vehicle. A heartwarming update was provided:
As of tonight, she has seen a vet, found a foster with RSR, and is snuggled up wearing a sweater and getting the love, warmth, food, and attention she deserves. We have one amazing team who jumped into action and made sure we did everything possible to help this sweet girl.
