A Union, South Carolina, man has been arrested for fatally shooting a dog in the face with a bow and arrow. As reported by Fox Carolina, 49-year-old Billy Ray Watson told deputies that he was tired of his neighbor’s dog coming into his yard.
Watson killed the dog on Sunday – firing the arrow into the dog’s face from less than two feet away. When deputies arrived, the dog was bleeding profusely and was still alive. Shortly thereafter, the dog succumbed to his injuries.
Watson was arrested on a charge of ill treatment of animals (torture) – he has already bonded out of jail.
