Shortly after winning the Super Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi announced that he would be covering dog adoption fees at KC Pet Project. Now, Coors Light is getting in on the feel good generosity with an offer so exciting, you might just envision the company saying, “hold my beer!”
In a press release, Coors Light announced that they will be helping cover dog adoption fees, nationwide, between February 4 and February 21. Chelsea Parker, Marketing Manager at Molson Coors is encouraging people to bypass cheesy Valentine’s cards in favor of a four-legged friend, saying:
“With almost half of millennials planning to stay in on Valentine’s Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side.”

Anyone of legal drinking age who resides in an eligible state and adopts a dog between February 4–21, 2020 can have Coors Light help cover their adoption fees. Eligible participants can text “COORS4k9” along with a picture of their adoption receipt to 28130.
