One single photo captures the utter terror of a homeless puppy at an animal control agency in Odessa, Texas. The Labrador retriever pup, Sal, has been at the Odessa Animal Control agency since April, and he needs a helping hand.
Within the past 24 hours, an advocate writes:
Scared and shy
He needs out!
He is good with other dogs
Odessa Animal Control
The pup’s intake card shows that he is in kennel A16 and that he is approximately four months of age. The case number for Sal reads 19-0016306 or 19-0010306 (the writing is difficult to read).
Please consider sharing this article to help Sal find a loving home or a reputable rescue group. The shelter phone number is 432-368-3527. Website for the Odessa Animal Control at this link.

Some may believe that fostering is just “too hard,” but the pay off is incredible! Spread the word, you can survive fostering, and save a life in the process! This beautiful design reads, “I survived loving a foster dog until a furever home was found” #Youcantoo

This little sweetheart DESPERATELY needs rescue or adoption FAST!
Adopted
What can I do to get him to Il. Husband has blood cancer. Is there any way we can get him here.J. Heath
This poor, terrified, precious little treasure……. OMG: my instinct is to snuggle him and reassure him the world is “OK”…….
Too bad I am in California…… I hope Sal finds a new furever home ASAP…… If someone is coming to the SF Bay Area, he is welcome here….. I would be happy to foster him (probably “fail” as a foster since he would think our home is “perfect”)…….
where is this baby. i will come adopt. coming from California. is he still available?
adopted, but there are plenty more at Odessa Animal Control

Posting rescue info here is not productive. It takes a village – always share dog’s info via email to rescues. Shelter doesn’t follow this thread.
More prayers answered. Sincere thanks to all!
