In the twilight of her life, a 13-year-old dog named Nicky finds herself alone at a busy California animal control agency. The elderly dog is in poor condition – in fact, she can barely walk. One would assume that Nicky’s family would have cherished each and every last moment with their pet, but sadly, this is not Nicky’s reality.
On Saturday an advocate posted a heartbreaking video of Nicky and wrote:
This is how Nicky, #A0828898, looks when she’s tries to walk. She is 13 and dumped on 8/22.
Nicky is in desperate need of assistance. It is obvious that she is in pain and does not feel well – the last place she needs to be is in a loud, frightening animal control agency. Please share Nicky’s adoption information and help her find someone who can get her into a home and give her the care that she needs for the time that she has left.
