A young dog, just five years of age, is in desperate need of a new home. The dog, Lucky, is disabled and his former owner offered him up for free on Craigslist…allegedly because Lucky was “too much work” to care for any longer.
The sad situation was posted by the Desperate Dogs of Long Island on Wednesday:
Posted on craigslist, crippled and in need- by an owner who clearly did not care, Lucky suffers from a slipped disc, and will be visiting a neurologist soon. Sadly at this point, prognosis may be grim, and he may be confined to a cart for the rest of his life.
According to Lucky’s advocates, he still has bladder and bowel control, and he enjoys walks in his wheelchair, and cuddles. Will you please take a moment to network Lucky’s story and help him find an owner who does not mind the extra work that goes hand-in-hand with caring for a disabled pet?
