Days ago, a California woman’s missing dog was found in a heart-wrenching manner – according to KTLA News, the 18-month-old dog, who disappeared from his Vacaville home on Thursday, was hurled onto Interstate 80 by someone in a blue Toyota Prius.
A horrified witness tried to get to the small dog, but another car on the busy roadway got there first, and the dog, named Rex, was killed. As if being thrown onto a busy road was not cruel enough – it was discovered that little Rex’s legs had been bound in plastic before he was hurled onto the interstate.
Rex’s owner, Deb Ferrara, is devastated over the loss of her constant companion. She told KTXL News, “He was the sweetest little dog. He was my 24/7 companion. I’d had him since he was just a pup.”
Anyone with information about this cruel incident is asked to contact the Vacaville Police Department.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
