A homeless woman, stricken with cancer, is desperately searching for her missing companion dog who was stolen from a friend’s yard in Riverside, California. According to Friday’s NBC Los Angeles News, on August 9, the Pomeranian-mix, named “Clyde,” vanished from the gated yard of her friend’s home – he hasn’t been seen yet.

Julie Treadwell, who is dealing with ovarian cancer (for the third time), is devastated that her dog is gone – she told the news agency, “It’s been really hard. I’m really depressed. It’s made me sick; my cancer cells are acting up more now.” She added “I feel empty inside.”

Treadwell managed to scrape together $100 for a reward – anyone with information about the missing dog is asked to reach out to the Riverside Police Department at 951-826-5700.

Please help and share! Somebody knows where this dog is! I get an error message telling me that this is a duplicate comment but it’s not!

Pray that this dog is found quickly and that the police are involved with this too. Woman battling cancer for the third time and someone does this to her dog (unfortunately whoever took the dog had no idea of the owners health situation and hope if they did they might not have taken this dog,her life companion). Flyers should be put up and 24/7 on the news channel until she knows one way or the other what has happened to her baby. Pray for Clyde as well as Julie

You are assuming someone that would “steal” a dog would have a heart if they knew the person they stole it from was battling cancer. Highly unlikely, anyone that would do this has NO heart at all. I hope they are found and dealt with harshly! I pray they find Clyde too, I hope and pray Ms Treadwell gets her best friend back!
