Five young dogs, not even one year of age, are fighting for their lives, through no fault of their own. The dogs are at the Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas, and already, they are on death row.
Had their owner known that the pups would be killed, would it have made a difference in their decision? Or did these five dogs mean so little that the threat of death had no bearing on that person’s choice to take them to an animal control agency?
Shortly after the siblings arrived, the Harris County Animal Shelter Volunteers Facebook page wrote:
We aren’t even a year old, but we only have hours left to live unless people open their homes to save us.
Would our owners have left us here if they knew it was a death sentence? They didn’t even bother to tell the shelter what our names are…. I guess they never really loved us anyways. Please don’t leave us here to die like our owners did.
Please share the adoption information for these dogs – your effort may be the difference between their life and their death.

They can be broken up, they don't have to stay together! GREAT NEWS!!!! Their links are back up!!!! The one male has a confirmed rescue hold!!! We are waiting for confirmation from the rescue that all 5 girls have been tagged as well!We aren’t even a year old, but we only have hours left to live unless people open their homes to save us. Would our owners have left us here if they knew it was a death sentence? They didn’t even bother to tell the shelter what our names are…. I guess they never really loved us anyways. Please don’t leave us here to die like our owners did. If you live in the Houston area and can open your home to one or two of us, comment below and they will *try* to find a rescue. If you cannot foster, please consider donating so a non-profit rescue can save us. 100% goes to the rescue and if we aren’t saved your donation is refunded in full.
