A Chihuahua mix dubbed “Isabella,” is being called a miracle by those who have heard her story. The dog, who is estimated to be five-years-old, was struck by a car and suffered serious, painful injuries before arriving to the Baldwin Park Animal Services facility in California.
In late June, an individual networking Isabella’s information on Facebook wrote, “she is de-gloved (missing flesh, like when you take off a pair of gloves) on both her sides, has many abrasions, is missing an eyelid, had both hips dislocated and well, she is just the BEST girl!”
She added, “The At-Choo Foundation believes her to be a Professor of Love and will help to sponsor her medical care. Isabella will need on-going care since she is missing an eyelid. She needs someone who LOVES to care for others, who finds reward and GREAT joy in healing and giving to others, especially a beautiful soul like Isabella.”
On July 9, the At-Choo Foundation wrote, “If anyone ever wanted to know what a miracle looks like, head on over to the Baldwin Park Shelter and ask to meet secret Isabella in the clinic. Despite being de-gloved, hips dislocate, an eyelid torn off, she is the SWEETEST girl! Destined to be a therapy dog and healer of some sort. Beyond a rescue or forever home, she needs an agent to bring her story to the masses! Tthe At-Choo Foundation will help with her medical – she is such a Professor of Love!”
Isabella needs someone who can address her ongoing veterinary needs until she is fully recuperated. Please help this deserving dog find that special person (or rescue agency) by taking a moment to share her adoption information.
