12-year-old heartbroken senior’s family never bothered to find her

Veronica is a 12-year-old Pomeranian picked up as a stray on July 3 and brought to the Downey Animal Care Center. Veronica’s face tells the story – her family never came to find her and her heart is broken.

The shelter is extremely overcrowded, Veronica is a senior and thus less families are interested in adopting her. Share her plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. No further information has been released about Veronica, however she can be adopted by the general public. It only takes one special person to rescue this sad little dog, who by no fault of her own, may never seen tomorrow.

    A dog this old, not spayed, makes me wonder if they just didn’t turn her loose to be rid of her. I pray someone takes pity on her and gives her a home.
