Two Rancho Cucamonga, California Police Department K-9s have been credited with finding a vulnerable woman who had fallen 200 feet down a steep ravine over the weekend.
According to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department’s Facebook page, Twin Peaks deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to an emergency call on Saturday after a 49-year-old woman with a traumatic brain injury had left her home and never returned.

When deputies arrived, K9 Naji set the track. K9 Keva took it the distance and lead deputies down a half-mile trail and into a steep ravine, leading to the missing person. Deputies located her, and due to the terrain and her condition, an air rescue hoist was initiated.

Teamwork, training, and determination made the difference.
San Bernardino County Search and Rescue and Air Rescue 306 responded to the scene and hoisted the woman to safety.
We love our K9 officers. Bloodhounds are great!
