In the Pinto Salinas neighborhood of Caracas, a frightened puppy nuzzled into his rescuer’s arms on Wednesday after being rescued from the rubble following the deadly Venezuela earthquakes.
While desperately searching for survivors in the debris, Capital District firefighters heard the small dog yelping under the debris of a collapsed structure. The team quickly moved the rubble and spotted the puppy.

Journalist Roman Camacho videoed the emotional rescue as the frightened and exhausted puppy was shown clinging to his rescuer while the firefighters offered the pup water from a cup.
