On Thursday morning, firefighters from the Aurora Fire Rescue rescued a dog stuck under the hood of a car. The dog probably climbed under there to keep warm from the freezing temperatures; it is not known how long he had been trapped.

there was a Chihuahua named Thor who was loose for whatever reason. He’s running down Dartmouth and at least one driver might have been more than one person willing to help out started following him and when she parked, her car right around where he was, she didn’t know where he went.

Somebody nearby another bystanded has noticed that he jumped up under her car into the under carriage.

According to the Aurora Fire Rescue, the team used airbags to lift the vehicle in order to reach the dog and removed some front suspension components to release the dog. Fortunately, the dog was not hurt.

The Aurora Animal Services traced the dog’s owner through his microchip and returned him to his owner.

The fire department wanted to warn people to make sure your pets are not being left outdoors in these terribly cold temperatures. If it’s too cold for you outside, then it’s too cold for your pets.
