If you’re shaking your head in disbelief after reading the headline, sadly the truth is sometimes stranger than fiction. TikTok poster (@happypurrr) Lyn found Happy asleep in a parking lot with her head resting on a cement bumper last year. Since then, this amazing cat has brought joy to Lyn and her family.

i adopted her on september 16th last year – time flies. it’s been over a year and she’s brought endless joy to me and my family.

Happy had been a stray in the neighborhood for many years. An often repeated story explained the reason why the senior cat had been a stray in the local carpark area. Years ago, the cat’s previous owners couldn’t stand her meowing in the house, so they kicked her out!

Lyn had spotted the cat one day and began feeding Happy; she had even made her a soft spot to sleep. That special day the woman saw Happy lying in the parking lot, she sat down to talk to her; yep, the two bonded, and the cat happily spilled into the woman’s lap ready for purrs and hugs.

Within a few days, Lyn had taken Happy to her veterinarian and then home; the warm and inviting place Happy already sensed would be the best place she could ever wish to have found.

Happy recently celebrated her 11th birthday with some special kitty treats.

So now let’s move on to the best parts. Here are a few more brief videos showing us how love and kindness make the difference. From her hesitation to some of her new experiences to her grateful gestures, it seems as if Happy appreciates her new life.

Take this one for example; Happy’s first time lying on a bed

How about a toy?

We couldn’t be more pleased for this beautiful story. Cats certainly don’t seem to get the same media attention as dogs, and we want to assure all of our cat story fans, we love them too.
