On October 28, Friends‘ star Matthew Perry tragically died at the age of 54. Perry was never married nor did he have any children. His deeply mourning family also includes his heartbroken dog; an adopted golden doodle mix named Alfred who frequently appeared on Matthew’s Instagram account.
According to Parade, Matthew’s close friend and cast mate Lisa Kudrow, may be adopting Alfred. Before media sources had gone public with the idea of Kudrow adopting Alfred, fans had already suggested she do so in the comments of Perry’s old Instagram photos of his three-year-old four-legged pal.
Preliminary reports stated first responders had been called to Matthew’s Los Angeles-area home on Saturday after a call came in for a potential drowning and/or cardiac arrest.
Kudrow and the rest of the cast plan to attend Matthew’s services.
Alfred’s future home will be followed when all arrangements have been finalized.
Rest in peace Matthew.

Definitely important for people to have plans for their furbabies. Can’t always have plans for them to be taken in by relatives. We are planning for all of our furbabies (dogs, cats and horses).
