Injured dog abandoned and tied to a pole in Granby

In Granby, Massachusetts, police are asking for help identifying the person who abandoned a female dog and left her tied to a pole on Porter Street on April 4, 2023.

According to the Grandy Police, the dog was taken to Granby Animal Center and later transferred to the MSPCA where she is recovering and doing well. When found, the dog was underweight and injured.

The MSPCA has been asking for help in identifying her owner. The dog is described as a mixed breed with a medium sized build. She is believed to be about two-years-old.

Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement at 800.628.5808.
