Police searching for K9 who escaped handler’s home overnight

A police K9 with the Edmonds, Washington, police department is missing. On Wednesday morning, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office alerted the public about the missing dog, named Ace, in a Tweet:

MISSING: Edmonds PD’s K-9 Ace is missing from unincorporated Lake Stevens. He escaped overnight from his residence in the 12300 block of 2nd Street SE in Lake Stevens. He is not wearing a collar. If seen, please call 911.

No word on how the dog escaped. Please call 911 if you spot this dog.
