On Wednesday, heartbreaking news was shared with thousands of fans who follow the “Henry The Colorado Dog” Facebook page, and millions of fans on Instagram. Henry, the photogenic dog who is best friends with a cat named Baloo, has cancer.
Henry’s owners shared the devastating update in a social media post, writing:
Our sweet Henry has been diagnosed with cancer. It’s one of the bad ones.
We are heartbroken. For ourselves and for our baby Baloo. We are already crying for the decisions to come. But Henry is the toughest dog around, and there is definitely some fighting to be done.
Henry rose to internet fame while enjoying an adventurous life with his people, Cynthia and Andre, who adopted him when he was just a pup. Together, they have photographed their way through hikes, canoe trips, road trips, and more. After the couple adopted Baloo as a kitten, priceless photos of the pair captured even more hearts.
