Two dogs, belonging to squatters who have taken over a property in Auburn, WA, viciously attacked an 18-year-old woman on Tuesday. The attack left the victim with severe injuries and she is in critical condition at Harborview Medical, reports King 5 News.
Michelle Provan, a woman who witnessed the attack, told KOMO News:
“I literally watched the dog drag the girl from one side of the street to the other and yank on her arm, she had a bloody face and all parts of her body, the dogs ripped her clothes off. It should have never happened to her. There is no reason.”
A good Samaritan who tried to pull the dogs off was bitten, but not severely. Responding deputies were forced to shoot and kill one of the dogs – the other was taken away by animal control. Neighbors have said that they have complained to officials about the squatters, and their dogs, but their complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
