A rescue group in Topeka, Kansas, is pleading for a foster home for a dog who was picked up as a stray and taken to an area animal control facility. According to Saving Death Row Dogs, the dog will be put down on Friday.
The rescue group writes:
IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED OR SHE DIES FRIDAY.
We are being asked to pull this sweet girl. She was picked up as a stray and never claimed and is in a small town nearby and will be euthanized on Friday if a place can not be found for her.
The dog is said to be “sweet but shy,” and she weighs approximately 30 pounds.
Can you help?
The rescue organization’s plea for help:
Please consider fostering her as we are overfull with all the dogs being given up and returned and cannot save her life without you. A foster application can be found online at www.savingdeathrowdogs.com. We supply all the needs for the foster (food, treats, kennel, etc). We ask the foster to provide a loving indoor home and trips to and from vet appointments. Please help us save her life. If you can’t foster please share.
Will I still fit on your lap mom?
