A handsome old boy, 10 years of age and well into the twilight of his life, has been waiting at a busy California animal services facility since October 24. The dog, a shepherd/Rottweiler mix named William, is waiting for the day that someone will walk into the Los Angeles County Animal Control (Downey facility) and find him worthy of their love.
On Thursday, his advocate wrote:
Everything about William just shouts majestic, perfect, wonderful ……. ahe sat so grand when I asked him to sit for his treat. You just know William was so grand and strong when he was younger, because his beauty of his youth shines through still after 10 years.
Will you please help this deserving senior dog by sharing his adoption information? Few people walk into shelters seeking out dogs who are already “past their prime.” But surely there is someone out there who would like an older companion to share their days with.
