A North Carolina teen is facing a charge of animal cruelty after posting a video showing him dropping a dog from a balcony. As reported by WXII 12 News, 18-year-old Jashon Tyrell Hampton was charged on Friday after the authorities viewed the video allegedly showing him dropping the dog from a Winston-Salem balcony.
According to the news agency, Forsyth County deputies stated that the dog suffered “evident injury” because of the fall – unfortunately, officials have not been able to locate the injured dog since the incident.
Hampton is facing a felony animal cruelty charge. Anyone with information about this incident, and/or the victimized dog, is asked to call the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at 336-727-2112 or Crime Stoppers at 336-727-2800.
