Authorities in Uinta County, Wyoming, are investigating an apparent case of animal cruelty involving a mixed breed puppy who was found with an arrow shoved down her throat. This week, Uinta County Law Enforcement Services detailed what is known about the incident on its Facebook page, writing:
On August 6th, in Lyman, Wyoming an adorable Border Doodle puppy named Milly had wandered away from her family for a short time. During the time she was gone, an arrow was shoved down her throat injuring her very badly.
No information about the fate of the puppy has been provided.
The authorities are hoping to find whoever is responsible. The agency writes:
If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Lyman Police Department at 307-787-6500. You may also share information with Crime Stoppers. You can provide information anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling or sending a text message to 307-708-CASH (2274).
A reward is being offered by the puppy’s family and Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.
