Skeletal dog rescued from dumpster

Skeletal dog, thrown away like trash, recovered from dumpster

A skeletal dog, barely clinging to life, was found this week in a dumpster in Mississippi. Someone with cruel disregard for the dog had literally thrown her away like unwanted trash. On Thursday, Second Chances Animal Rescue, in Pontotoc, posted to Facebook about the pitifully neglected dog:

We had the privilege of meeting this beautiful girl yesterday at our vet’s office. She was found in a dumpster, barely clinging on to life. She is doing well, considering. But she has a long battle ahead of her. What did she do to deserve this? Nothing. She was simply unlucky enough to be born in a state where it is ABSOLUTELY LEGAL to treat a living, breathing, loving creature like trash. Trash!!

Adding a few words about the importance of altering pets:

This is why I constantly promote spaying and neutering. For her. So there aren’t any more unwanted babies thrown away like their life doesn’t matter. Because it does 😞.

The dog is in the care of the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society – any donations for her care should be made to:  www.tupeloleehumane.org or call 662-841-6501 (Please reference dumpster dog).

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”

She is beautiful. I pray she makes a full recovery. Her owners need to be thrown in the dumpster and wait there until the garbage truck comes and empties it, squashing them like bugs.

I wish the reference to “dumpster dog” would change for the donations. This sweet little girl needs a name.

Figures … A state that has cowardly cold hearted cocksuckers in it. Any asshole who does this shit .. needs to be exterminated. Make it a slow & painful death. Once the freak dies .. toss them in a garbage bin. It’s what they deserve!!!!!

No not the tallest, just one that just has them on their very tip toes, so they struggle as much as this poor animal has.
Then if and when they die, then toss their remains in the garbage where they already belong.

YOU can do this!!! Just look up the State and the Senate and House Rep and addresses. I HAVE DONE THIS IN MY OWN STATE WITH ANIMAL ABUSE AND ACTUALLY HAD SUCCESS!!! We have a Molly mule in our possession and owner ship after a letter from us , photos, letters from 2 vets, and 10 other vested individuals…

WAKE UP MISSISSIPPI! Your lack of severe penalties for animal abuse only tells that this state still lives in the 19th century – it is time you start treating animals like living breathing beings and not objects to be discarded like garbage. Whoever did this only shows what a pitiful redneck inbred state Mississippi is to allow animals to be treated so poorly.
