Driver of SUV accused of intentionally running over service dog

The driver of an SUV is accused of intentionally running over, and killing, a service dog in Alabama. According to Friday’s AL.com News, someone driving a black SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe, hit the dog around 8 p.m. along the 1800 block of Geneva Highway in Enterprise on Thursday night.

According to witnesses, the dog died when the driver of the vehicle hit the dog, then drove back and apparently struck the dog on purpose once again – the dog had been standing near the road by his home. According to the Enterprise Ledger, the dog, named “Bullit,” was nine years of age and had been Hailley Allen’s service dog for seven years. Allen told the Ledger, “I just want them to come forward and look me in the face and say they actually did it and say why they did it. I want them to see just how bad it’s hurt me.”

The individuals who were inside of the vehicle are described as two white males – they fled the scene after killing the service dog. The Enterprise Police Department is investigation the tragic situation – anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division  at 334-347-2222.

This is absolutely HORRIBLE and the monsters who did this should be found and prosecuted. NOW…. on the other hand why was this beautiful animal outside, at night, unattended standing by a road? I know people that live in the rural areas just let their dogs roam….but that is not right. Too much can happen to them and you will not know about it. Keep your pets CLOSE to you, if you let them roan freely….stay with them and watch them. This was a totally horrible, worthless, useless death.
Pet guardians…. KEEP YOU FURBABIES CLOSE!!

Yes the dog was probably too close to the road at 8:00pm at night, but the fact they went out of their way to hit Bullit and then turned around and ran over the dog again, tells me this was intentional! Most likely had the owner been with the dog they would have been hit too!

I’d like to see them caught and forced to explain why they did it, before they’re run down and run over twice by a Mack truck.

Sociopaths have no rhyme or reason for their heartless, reckless harm they inflict. If they did care, they would not have done this. People like this get off on harming everyone in their path, and they won’t stop until they are either killed, or prosecuted and made to pay out of their deep dark souls. They are useless pieces of trash, they don’t care!
