Update: Reunited with owner
A young dog, estimated to be just one year of age, is quickly losing hope of ever experiencing love and freedom again. The dog, dubbed “Kianna,” has been at the Baldwin Park Animal Services facility in California since October 26.
The days inside of her lonely kennel run pass slowly – each day arriving and departing in the same sad and lonely manner. On Monday, volunteer photographer John Hwang captured images of this lonely dog and shared them with his Facebook followers.
Hwang wrote:
She stays close to the fence. Waiting for someone to notice her. People walk by. Hardly anyone stops to see her. Hope starts to fade from her eyes. Resigning her fate to never getting out. She has so much love to give, but will she ever get the chance…
Kianna is virtually invisible inside of her kennel run – just one of far too many homeless dogs who are sitting behind bars, waiting and hoping for someone to take notice.
Kianna’s basic needs are being met, but her emotional needs are not. She needs love, and she needs attention – she is longing for both and with each day that passes, her hope of being loved fades.
Please help Kianna find someone to love by taking a moment to network her adoption information.
