Adoption was a long time coming for one dog in California…more than 2000 days in fact! But that special day finally arrived for nine-year-old Seamus, and staff at Fresno Bully Rescue couldn’t be happier.
On December 22, the rescue organization broke the good news to Facebook followers, writing:
A home for the Holidays!! Senior shelter dog, Seamus, finally finds his forever home just in time for Christmas after spending just over 2000 days living at our shelter! Christmas miracles really do happen! 🎄#ahomefortheholidays
The recently adopted dog has already secured his own Instagram account and he appears to be thoroughly enjoying life in a home. His owner posted:
Seamus is famous this dog has so much love from everyone I am glade me and my girlfriend @cracker_559 got to adopt him we love that old man and has a forever home now #fresnobullyrescue #abcnews #fresnoca #foreverhome
Seamus beat the odds…most homeless pit bulls aren’t as fortunate as he has been. Enjoy your new life Seamus!
