At the ripe old age of 14, an elderly, blind dog has found himself locked away at a busy California animal control. The German shepherd mix, Chet Atkins, is being held at the Los Angeles County Animal Control facility in Downey.
On Monday, the elderly dog’s social media advocate shared his plight on Facebook:
14 year old blind senior.
Pit bull/Shep Mix.
I tried to give him treats but it was hard, he didn’t know where they were.
He needs love and care can we share for his care/rescue. ❤

A busy animal control facility is no place for a senior dog…much less a blind, senior dog. Please share this old boy’s adoption information and help him find a soft bed to rest his weary paws.
