Cypress, CA – A woman is accused of killing a man who she thought was trying to intentionally run over a cat. According to multiple sources, 20-year-old Hannah Star Esser is facing a murder charge for running over 43-year-old Luis Anthony Victor, the man she thought was trying to run over a cat with his car.
Prosecutors have stated that Esser exited her vehicle on Sept. 25 and confronted Victor in a “profanity-laced” tirade. She then got into her car and drove away, then made a U-turn and drove directly into Victor, flipping him over her vehicle and killing him. Victor, a father of five, died on the street in front of his residence.
In a statement, District Attorney Todd Spitzer said:
“This action showed a complete disregard for human life.”
She is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled for arraignment on Oct. 13.
