A senior dog dubbed Chewie is waiting for someone to take notice of him at the Lancaster Animal Care facility in California. The 12-year-old dog is desperately in need of grooming – judging by his intake photo, it appears that this senior pooch has been badly neglected.

A few years ago we adopted our precious little treasure, Hazel, from this shelter. She was a wonderful companion!!!!!
I miss her very much: cancer and strokes are very wicked illnesses…….
If we still lived in CA, I would adopt from this shelter in a heartbeat!!!
