Days ago, TikTok user Emmrosex shared a poignant video capturing her dog Molly’s beautiful, last day. Though Molly appears to be healthy, a large tell-tale lump can be seen on her front leg…a lump caused by terminal bone cancer.
It is her terminal condition prompting one day full of all her favorite things, including a trip to McDonald’s for treats, a walk through the pet store for some pup-selected goodies, a visit to her favorite park to roll in the grass, and one last moment with friends before she is set free from her failing body.
Nobody enjoys that final goodbye, and we all know that dogs just don’t live long enough. But every dog deserves to be loved like Molly. Thousands of people responded to the touching video…some sharing condolences, and others commenting with the knowledge of a guardian who has also suffered the loss of their best friend.
